Auditions
OpenStage is composed of an Ensemble Company of actors, directors, designers, and technicians. Individuals who work with the Company during a season initially are considered Associate Members. Full Company Membership is attained after an individual has worked with OpenStage on at least four productions over a minimum of two years.
OpenStage’s Essential Season is composed of four shows, three of which perform in the Fort Collins Lincoln Center, and one of which performs outside in June at the Columbine Health System Park in Fort Collins. Each Essential production runs for five weekends, Friday and Saturday nights, with two Sunday matinees. There is also a student performance, a pay-what-you-can performance, and one or more private sponsor performances for each production.
OpenStage’s etcetera Season is composed of two shows that perform in non-traditional spaces. Each etcetera production performs for 2 weekends, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. There is also a student performance and a pay-what-you-can for each production.
All actors in production receive a small cash stipend and complimentary tickets to both the Essential and etcetera Seasons, based on level of membership (two Essential season tickets and one etcetera season ticket for Company Members; one Essential season ticket and one etcetera season ticket for Associate Members).
