The Book Of Will by Lauren Gunderson

Sydney has worked with OpenStage since 1997 and serves as Producing Artistic Director for the Company. She received the 2019 OpenStage OPUS Award for Outstanding Director for Avenue Q and the 2018 OPUS for Outstanding Director for And Then There Were None. Recent OST&C directing credits include Hedwig And The Angry Inch, Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood, and Every Brilliant Thing. 

Sweat by Lynn Nottage

Last season Kenny directed the compelling Cabaret here at OpenStage. His other directing credits include: Miss Rhythm (Denver Center), Caroline, or Change (Aurora Fox), Beauty and the Beast (Arvada Center), Take to the Highway (Lone Tree Arts Center), and Motones & Jerseys (National Tour). This season, Kenny has also joined OpenStage’s Board of Directors as of August 2023!

Noah is the Associate Artistic Director of OpenStage Theatre & Company, and the Head of Musical Theatre at CSU, directing their recent productions of Spring Awakening, The Rocky Horror Show, Cabaret, and A Man of No Importance. Noah’s Broadway credits include The Terms of My Surrender (Movement Director) and Thoroughly Modern Millie (Associate Choreographer for Rob Ashford’s Tony Award-winning Best Choreography). He won the 2022 Opus Award for directing and choreographing OpenStage’s production of Sense and Sensibility in 2022, as well as locally directed Bas Bleu’s A Walk in The Woods.

Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare

Debbie is currently a Senior Instructor of Theatre and Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts at Colorado State University. She teaches acting and global encounter courses. With OpenStage, Debbie has directed Steel Magnolias, Bright Ideas, and Natural Shocks (streamed online). Plays she’s directed at CSU include Silent Sky, How I Learned to Drive, Lysistrata, and Machinal.

Six Years Old By Daphne Silbiger

Kiernan received OpenStage OPUS Award nominations for Outstanding Actor portraying Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, Jake in H2O, and won Outstanding Supporting Actor in the musical Spamalot.  In October 2020, Kiernan devised, directed, and produced a spooky, immersive theatrical experience in partnership with the Lyric Cinema and in collaboration with local artists. Off the stage, Kiernan is the Artistic Director for Playhaus Productions collaborating with local artists to produce short films, music videos, and other weird stuff that probably has a clown or two in it.

Dance Nation By Clare Barron

Heather  is a director, improv comedian, writer, performer, teacher, clown, and dancer. With OpenStage, Heather directed 15 Minute Christmas Carol, was the movement director and assistant director for A Doll’s House, Part 2, and the Assistant Director for August: Osage County. Other directing credits include A Christmas Carol (La-De-Da Performing Arts) and Reasons the House Burned Down (Telephone Theatre Project & FoCo Fringe).
